Everyone needs to plot and this is where you can do it. You can post any general plotting threads in here and for all those traditionalists, there is a sub-board for those fancy plot pages.

Though the giant oak doors is a small entrance hall. There is a hallway that leads off it as well as the entrance to the dungeons and the marble staircase. There is also a broom closet located near by.

The Great Hall is the place where everyone goes to eat their meals, student or professor. The ceiling is charmed to look like the sky, giving it a very open feeling throughout the hall.

This is where the common room is for the Slytherins, located in the dungeons.

The Potions classroom is located in the dungeons, where it is always dark and cold, no matter what season it is.

This is where the House-Elves work so hard to create all the meals for the Hogwarts staff and students.

With low doors and decorated in yellow and black, the Hufflepuffs meet in their common room when they don't have classes.

On the fourth - seventh floors are the classrooms for Arithmancy and Ancient Runes as well as the Library, the Prefects' Bathroom, the Music Room and the Room of Requirement.

Not many know how to get into the office without the password, but this is Headmaster Flitwick's office.

This is the Gryffindor common room, located at the bottom of Gryffindor Tower.

This is where the Ravenclaw Common Room is, located deep in the middle of the castle.

The Owlery is located at the top of the west tower, which is where all the owls reside.

At the top of this tower is where Astronomy classes are held. Sometimes students also visit the top of this tower after hours, when class isn't in session.

Through a trap door, one can get to the Divination classroom, which is at the top of the North Tower.

The courtyard is accessable from a door leading off the Entrance Hall. It blooms especially well in the spring and even has a few benches for students to sit down.

Hogwarts has a large amount of grounds where one can take a stroll during the day or even night. From the pond to the forest and even back to the castle, the lawns stretch far and wide.

There are many greenhouses, ranging from calm plants all the way to the dangerous ones. Herbology classes are held in these greenhouses.

There are many creatures that reside in this lake, including mermaids, grindylows and the Giant Squid. Students are allowed to lounge around the lake, but they are advised not to go swimming.

This is the Quidditch stadium, where all Quidditch practices & games as well as the Flying lessons for the first and second years are held. A team may only practice here if they have booked off the stadium, but if no one is in the field, students are free to practice on their own.

This forest is forbidden to all students, no matter the circumstances.

Care of Magical Creatures is an elective class, available to all students in their third year or higher.

The Gameskeeper's shack is located near the forest, close to everything he will be taking care of at Hogwarts.

One of the only pure wizarding villages, Hogsmeade is very close to Hogwarts and is the place that the Hogwarts students visit three times a year.

In London, the wizarding and muggle worlds clash quite peacefully. There are muggle shops and houses, but there also is the Ministry of Magic, St. Mungo's, Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley and a local Quidditch Stadium, located on the outskirts of the city.

This is an apartment building, located in London. With muggles and wizards alike, however, everyone needs to be careful.

All the wizard criminals come here before and after their trials. They are constantly being guarded by the dangerous creatures, the Dementors.

Here you will find wizarding homes and neighborhoods. Be careful where you venture, some homes have protection to keep out unwanted visitors.

It isn't all about England. There are many other places throughout the U.K. to visit or even live, including places in Scotland, Ireland and Wales.

This is where you can play some games, post an introduction, tell us about your absense, or even participate in some of the contests we have running.
