7 KNUTS
7 LAST MINUTE HOLIDAY GIFTS
Too many times, the days just fly by and suddenly there's 7 days to Christmas and you're stuck without a gift. Every year we vow to plan better, and every year we get a little more forgetful.
1. A subscription of some sort. Whether it be wine delivered to your lucky friend once a month or a collection of fine cheeses. The great thing about a subscription is that it comes at a predetermined time every month. So even if you order the subscription in the eleventh hour, they will never know.
2. DIY Hot chocolate kit. Who doesn't like a soul warming cup of cocoa? Put some cocoa and fixings like marshmallows and flavoring if you'd like all into a mason jar. Crafty and cheap.
3. Speaking of DIYs, you can even do it with cookies. Your favorite or theirs, toss all the ingredients into a jar and call it a day. You can even decorate it if you're feeling fancy. But that's not necessary, only highly advised.
4. If you have any sort of knitting capability, never forget Albus' Dumbledore's famous words "one can never have too many socks."
5. Mix tapes are all the rage nowadays in the muggle world. From Jacks Mannequin to Celestina Warbek, put together a playlist that will mean something more than that you forgot to buy them a gift.
6. A photobook. There's no better way to keep a memento than to be reminded of it constantly and with vivid moving photographs.
7. A promise that you can deliver on. Whether it be tickets to the next Tornadoes game, an all expenses paid trip to Hogsmeade, or that you'll plan better next year, something you can plan now and deliver on later is always a good idea.
Happy gift giving!
