It was near the end of the year. People were ready to pack their things and leave Hogwarts for six weeks. There was a hint of sadness in her eyes as Evie only wanted adventures in her life and being home was no adventure at all. It could be slightly sad and especially since her father never got over the death of his oldest son. Evie sighed as she looked out the window of the divination tower. People who knew Evie knew that she was often found in the highest places. Evie loved the height, the ability to look over the world from a point where no one could touch her.
Evie sighed and smiled a bit as she eyed the grounds from here. She had a great view and she slowly sat down while leaning against the window. Evie would miss her friends and the cute guy from Slytherin. She didn't know why but he caught her eye even when he ran from here whenever he was scared or nervous. She saved every drawing she had gotten from him and the very first one was even framed. She would give it a nice place in her bedroom once she got home.
It felt weird to call Belfast her home when she honestly felt more at home here. There was a smile on her face as she looked out the window, her eyes on the grounds. She didn't notice footsteps or other people even when she was usually very observant of her surroundings. Evie just got lost in her thoughts and it made her happy. Her brother was developing a crush she really thought was a sweet girl. She herself had no idea about her feelings. She liked the Slytherin boy and she knew he liked her but she had no idea why or how.
