All classes available at Hogwarts School for the 2024-2025 year will be listed here, along with the students enrolled. Electives are only available to third year students and above. Classes will be posted in their respective boards, and links will be in the sidebar. Please enroll with the following code.


We are asking that you sign up each term because you need to choose electives for your third year and you also need to choose which classes to keep when you go into your sixth year, so it's easier just to have sign-ups each term.

CLICK HERE for last year's list, in case you forget what classes your character(s) took. Remember that if they're above third year, they can't suddenly add new electives they weren't taking last year. However, they can drop them.

MANDATORY CLASSES: Astronomy, Beings Studies (years 1-2 only), Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Flying [first years only], Herbology, History of Magic, Potions, Transfiguration.

ELECTIVE CLASSES: Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Basic Healing, Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, Advanced Flying, Muggle Studies, Wizarding Literature.

NEWT CLASSES: Alchemy, Dark Arts Theory, Magical Law, Wizarding Finance.


FIRST & SECOND YEARS must take all the mandatory classes [second years do not take Flying].

THIRD, FOURTH & FIFTH YEARS must take all the mandatory classes + at least 2 elective classes.

SIXTH & SEVENTH YEARS must take at least 5 classes [from mandatory, elective or NEWT].

VEELA (FULL VEELA ONLY) must take Astronomy, Beings Studies (first-second years only), Flying (first years only), Herbology, History of Magic, Potions and Veela Studies. Third-Fifth Years may also take Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Advanced Flying, Muggle Studies, Wizarding Literature (must be at least 2). Sixth-Seventh Years must take at least 5 classes, including Veela Studies. They also can take Magical Law and Wizarding Finance at this time.

GOBLINS must take Astronomy, Beings Studies (first-second years only), Herbology, History of Magic, Potions and Goblin Studies. Third-Fifth Years may also take Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Muggle Studies, Wizarding Literature (must be at least 2). Sixth-Seventh Years must take at least 5 classes, including Goblin Studies. They also can take Magical Law and Wizarding Finance at this time.
