Love is in the air
Written by Vanity Sorola
With Valentine's Day in the air, we always have the question of love potions. Are they legal? Some places. Are they safe? Some are. Are they ethical? Who really knows. When it comes to love potions, it's best to always aim for safety above all else. If you are not a master potion, please do not attempt to brew and give it to someone. They are easy to mess up and could leave your loved one poisoned or otherwise incapacitated.
Also, if you are purchasing your love potion please use a reputable source. Sure, there might be someone willing to make it for cheaper, but at what cost? Wouldn't you rather to have a good one that works for the time you paid for? It's your money. Just be smart with it.
Lastly, please remember that the potion will wear off eventually. And when it does? The person will remember what happened but won't still have those feelings. It'll be awkward and strange. So just be ready for that.
Otherwise, good luck and happy Valentine's Day!

Party season
Written by Vanity Sorola
The social event of the season will be Arthur VanCamp's party. Every year Mr. VanCamp throws a party for his youngest daughter. However, this year, she is turning 20 and as per tradition for every VanCamp, she'll be picking her future spouse at the party.
It has happened every time any VanCamp has reached 20, even when Mr. Arthur VanCamp. However, this is the youngest daughter and thus this is one of the biggest ones he'll ever be throwing. Anyone who wants to be considered for a possible romance option for the young VanCamp just needs to arrive to the party wearing a gold mask.
After the VanCamp party, there are more parties as the social season has started. But we are pleased to say that this will be the biggest one. We will keep you informed as more parties are announced.

Camp Camp
Written by Vanity Sorola
Last month started the back to school rush. So many parents were able to let out a breath of air they'd been holding since school let out in June. But now that some of the kids are in school, some parents are left with their younger children to deal with. And with some people suddenly being out of a job, the last thing they'd want is having their kids running around the house. That's why we have a list of some affordable camps in the area.
Quidditch camp - While there are several Quidditch camps in the Wizarding world, Ur's Quidditch Camp is one of the best ones and they have also cut their prices by twenty percent if a family signs up two kids a the same time.
Magizoology camp - Is your child not into Quidditch? Weirdo. Well thankfully Jiro's Animal Camp is also open. While they haven't done any price cuts or discounts, it's well regarded as the safest magizology camp for children. So if you want your child to play with magical animals and not die, it's the camp for everyone.
Herbology camp - Last the main camp that is running this fall is Lyon's plants and stuff. While it's a lesser known camp, it does have everything needed to keep kids healthy and occupied. And at the end of it, every child gets to keep their own plant!
While there are a bunch of other clubs, those three are the cream of the crop and all of them have the Daily Prophet seal of approval.
