Harrison's want of studying had become important to him, mainly because he was fascinated with learning as much as he could about magic. The more he learned, the more he wanted to know, and that included some spells that were above his year level, but still within reach - so long as effort and time was spent on them. And while Harrison knew there were limits to what could be learned without Professor lessons and teaching, that didn't dissuade him from wanting to pursue his own development.
Outside an empty classroom, Harrison watched and waited for another student, one who had been interested in mutual out-of-class study.
"Leo!" Harrison called when he caught sight of the Slytherin boy. "I found a class for us to study here!"
It had taken Harrison a little to understand that Leo responded to different things, because he was blind, and so the Gryffindor tapped his fingers on his spell book as he hummed to himself. He wanted to provide a constant source of direction for the other, without being rude and shouting or guiding him. It was actually pretty amazing to see Leo excelling in Hogwarts, to which Harrison took his fellow student's efforts and achievements as something of an inspiration.
"Hi, how are you?" Harrison asked as he opened the classroom door. "There's some tables for us in the middle of the room."
Harrison led the way, as he stepped into the dim space, and found the tables and chairs.
"Thanks for studying with me, I've been enjoying learning more and more. I was thinking about studying Pulsus, and even have a training doll to use--" and from his bag, Harrison pulled out a small charmed doll, which would react like someone being hit with the spell. "--so I don't need to test on you, which I think is a good thing. I dunno how I'd feel being knocked around constantly!"
Harrison placed the doll onto the table and looked to Leo, ready to begin...

Leo was really beginning to feel like he was old, if only because he wasn't quite used to people thinking he might be helpful for anything like studying. At the sound of Harrison's voice, he turned his head. A habit he'd picked up for making people comfortable, and also because it meant he usually wasn't walking backwards into anything.
He appreciated the audio cues that he was being given. He was good when it came to finding places he knew, like specific classrooms for certain subjects, but after that he tried not to get into too much trouble. It was easy to imagine Harrison as a bit of a fidgety person.
"'m alright, Harrison. How're you?" Leo asked, feeling the tables and putting his bookbag down. He hadn't brought along any kind of doll or dummy to practice on, but he did have his textbooks, which would hopefully work well for his purposes.
"I'm going to practice on my textbooks, but if you're going to get close give me a heads up so I know to stop with the wandwork." Leo said. Then, to get himself started, he felt around for his textbook and cast "Engorgio." That way, he'd be ready to practice reducing the textbook back to normal.

"I've been good," Harrison said with a grin. "Been learning all kinds of spells and preparing for any upcoming duels. It's been super fun!"
Harrison repositioned the small doll, so it wouldn't fly into Leo once hit by his casting, and then prepared with his wand at the ready. When the other student mentioned practicing on textbooks, Harrison gave a confirmation - "Ahhh, nice." - before he pointed his wand and spoke the incantation:
"Pulsus!"
And watched as the small doll was hit with a burst of force from the wand, which sent it tumbling from the table to clatter against the ground.
Awesome!
There had even been another spell Leo had used, Engorgio, which Harrison planned to remember for later use, if needed. It was ideal studying with older students, because they knew so much more, and the opportunity to get some advanced knowledge was so high. Still, sadly there wasn't a spell for retrieving the doll, so Harrison walked over and collected the thing. He walked back, placed it on the table, and prepared to try again...

"That's good." Leo said. The adventures of first years. He remembered being excited to learn about all the things in the castle, all the spells that were there. Now he was closer to leaving Hogwarts than he was to entering, and that made him a little bit sad. Not too sad, though. Three years was a long time!
He heard the clattering sound of the doll and assumed that Harrison's spell must have worked. "Sounds like you're doing a good job!" Leo said. Practice made perfect, though. Which reminded him...
He felt the textbook, which was significantly larger. Perfect. Now all he needed to do was shrink it back to normal, which seemed like an easy enough task.
"Reducio!" Leo said, and then felt the textbook to figure out if it was back to normal. He was glad to feel that it was back to normal. Carrying around heavy textbooks, especially enlarged ones, wouldn't be very fun.

"That was awesome, Leo," Harrison opened his mouth as he watched Leo perform the Reducio. That was pretty awesome, and it had the first year's mind racing in a hundred directions, as he considered all the potential uses and pranks that could be done. "You could have some serious fun with that spell!"
Thoughts of jokes and laughs were in Harrison's mind, as he refocused on the doll before him, as he aimed his wand.
"Pulsus!"
There was another flash and the small object flew from the table, to clatter on the stone flooring. It seemed Harrison was able to handle the spell, he felt confident with his results, though he would continue to study and train for a little while. Aside from that, it seemed the session would give a good result, and the Gryffindor was thankful to Leo for being a willing study buddy...
And, for the moment, Harrison gathered the doll, and settled in to keep training with the spell.
He would keep at it for another hour or so, just to be sure.

Leo laughed. He hadn't really considered the practical joke aspect of using some of the spells, thinking mostly about what he hoped was their intended usages. "I hadn't even thought about that." he admitted. "Though I suppose it could be a good idea."
As long as no one got hurt. Putting a giant rubber duck in someone's room only to shrink it down to regular size when they returned with friends did sound like it would be a lot of fun. Or maybe it could be used to do another prank. For some reason, Leo's mind was stuck on the idea of a giant rubber duck.
"Engorgio" Leo said, taking the textbook back to its enlarged size. Then, hoping it would go back to normal: "Reducio!" Leo said. Then he felt around for the textbook. It was an extra step necessary for him.
Though he was still getting the hang of the spell, Leo knew that with practice eventually he'd be pretty good at it.
