LAST CALL for siblings

Not actually a last call, lol.

But Reina will be a seventh year and Hana a first year next term, so I thought now would be a great time to get them sorted! Of course, I would also appreciate anyone coming to play them later on. Have a read through and let me know.

REINA HAMADA

REINA HAMADA ; 17 , SIXTH YEAR

Family:
FATHER - 48, lesser known musician who occasionally performs on the Wizarding Wireless Network
MOTHER - 48, Seer, small divination store owner
* parents immigrated from Japan to Scotland shortly after they married.
* mother comes from a long line of Seers. preferably either Reina or Hana would also be a Seer.
* the siblings are forced to study Divination, but it’s up to you to decide how Reina accepts it.
KEN HAMADA , YOUNGER BROTHER - 16
* Ken is 11 months younger than Reina, therefore they are in the same year at school.
* they grew up bickering. a LOT. they get along well now, but they’re not exactly best friends like some siblings are. deep down though, they love each other and know it.
HANA HAMADA, YOUNGER SISTER - 10

As of the 2025-2026 school term that is coming up, Reina will graduate from Hogwarts with Ken! She can move on to any job you choose for her. I wrote in a thread that she thought the letter Ken received appointing him as Head Boy was a big prank lol. She could have been a Prefect with him if she were in one of the Houses where a female position was available.

Hana will be a second year, at Hogwarts without her older siblings for the first time. Ken will continue to live in Hogsmeade for the time being, so we can do a letter thread or have them catch up during a weekend trip to the village after she becomes a third year. I mentioned in a thread that she made a lunch box of baked goods for herself and her siblings on the train ride to Hogwarts, so you could have baking as one of her hobbies. <3

I suggested that either Reina or Hana be a Seer, and there is currently one Seer character available with admin permission, so it could be something to consider claiming!

11 / first year / pureblood

Blood Status: Pureblood
Location of Residence: Dublin, Ireland
School: Hogwarts

Acacia’s brother was adopted by her parents after his birth parents, who were their close friends, passed away. He was about 6 years old when this happened, old enough that he could have chosen to keep his surname. So his name is fully open, and his surname does not have to be Tran.

He did not live with the family in Ireland for too long. Soon after his adoption his parents got divorced, and he moved to his mother’s hometown Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam with his mother and sister. Growing up in the Wizarding community here, he thought that he would attend Xanadu like Acacia did when the time comes.

Acacia went abroad to Firenze Academy in the recently ended term as part of the Dodecawizard Tournament. Here she began to truly miss the European environment she grew up in, and she also renewed her desire to live away from their strict mother. At the end of the term, she managed to persuade their mother to allow her to take her brother and move back to Ireland where their father still lives.

So he now lives with his father and sister in Ireland, and will begin at Hogwarts with Acacia in the upcoming term.

Everything else - house, personality, etc - is up to you! However, I would like him to have a relatively sunny disposition!

A lenient person, fun to be around but not so good at parenting, which is why he did not get custody of his children at first.

MOTHER - 47, pureblood, staff at Xanadu, blood purist

Strict with both students and children. I haven’t decided how she got to marry a Muggleborn when she hates them… but she did.

The couple immigrated from Vietnam to Ireland shortly after they got married. Regardless of everything, both parents love their son very much.

ACACIA TRAN, SISTER - 16, half-blood, student at Hogwarts, blood purist

Acacia’s blood purist actions are subtle and not so serious so far; she just admires the idea of being pureblood and prefers hanging out with pureblood peers. She is very close with her brother and cares for him deeply, so much so that she would take him with her halfway across the world instead of taking off on her own, which would have been much easier.

The idea of pureblood supremacy that Acacia hints at in their conversations may influence his thoughts. I think it would be interesting if he starts at Hogwarts thinking that pureblood wizards, including himself, are superior, then gradually discovers that it’s an immoral belief and falls out with his sister over their different opinions. On the other hand, he could solidify the view he initially had and grow to be a blood purist like his mother and Acacia.
