JULY 2024
Knockturn Alley was filthy. She preferred to use reputed dealers and craftsmen. Unfortunately, there were times when she needed something even the best of the best couldn't get. Sometimes, the seedier dealers were the only ones willing to put in the work to get what she needed. Summers were busy for her. It was hard to have fun when she was at Hogwarts educating the undeserving brats of the wizarding world. It was only during the summer that she was able to have free reign to have fun. Whether it be hunting muggles or crafting poisons, it was a lot more fun to do them when she wasn't rushed.
She was in no hurry when she stepped through the doors of Mr. Mulpepper's apothecary. She was there for a reason, but it couldn't hurt to look around at the wares being offered.

Tae-min didn't restrict himself when it came to knowledge hunting. There were supplies he needed as well for some potions he wanted to brew and being from another country, he didn't fully understand the reputation surrounding Knockturn Alley. So there he was when an older woman entered. He didn't know her since he had not been a student of Hogwarts.
"Hello," he greeted to be congenial as he picked through the wares himself.

Lilith was suspicious by nature. The unwarranted greeting coming from the other occupant of the shop made her stop and take notice. What reason did he have to say hello to a stranger in Knockturn Alley of all places? Did he work at the apothecary? Was he stupid, or perhaps he thought it was polite? A nod would have been enough. Him addressing her first meant she had no choice but to say something. Ignoring him was rude, even if she'd sooner hexed the man-boy than carry on a conversation.
"Hello." Was she supposed to say something else? Did he expect her to? She hoped he wasn't about to try and sell her something. His baby face might work on some sweet old lady, but she had more self-respect than to fall for a handsome face. Then again, playing with him could ease her boredom, if he was interesting enough. "Do you work here?"
