Despite not ruling the country for a decade and refusing to join Anonymous, which was formed by those in her inner circle from Mortenero, Giovanna still had many contacts in Britain and abroad. More so abroad than ever before as she did business in various places.
But the one contact she was caring about right now was one she had in the Ministry. He worked in the Department of Mysteries and told her that there had been a new prophecy put there with her name on it. That of course peaked her interest quite a bit. Unfortunately he wasn't privy to being able to see it himself or tell her what it was about, but Giovanna would want to see it herself anyway.
So she collected her most loyal allies. No one who was running Anonymous, whoever was at this point. Giovanna only knew a few of the leaders before and others were assumed, but not even they would tell her who all was in it. She only knew for sure that it was her brother, Seraphina, and another, but everyone else she thought she knew was just from assumptions.
Giovanna first approached Goyle. He always wanted to follow her and agreed very quickly to help her. She didn't even tell him what they were doing yet and he was on board.
Next they visited Draco's house together. It helped that Goyle and Draco had a long history of friendship, so they would get along well.
Draco also would drop anything for Giovanna, something that his wife absolutely hated her for. But Giovanna was so powerful and with so many allies, Astoria would never dare do or say anything against Giovanna outright. But Giovanna could tell she hated her guts that Gio had some hold over Draco, even after all these years.
Giovanna explained the plan, what she needed him to do. He was the Head Unspeakable after all.
"I'll do it," he said simply, as the three of them sat in his sitting room. Although Goyle often got up and paced around a bit. He definitely was more of a man of action. Despite his lack of academic intelligence, that also was another reason he wouldn't be very suited to a more lucrative career, like a desk job in the Ministry. He couldn't sit still for that long.
Giovanna smirked. "Then let's get started."
The planning took a little while but finally the day had arrived they would 'break' into the Ministry. Of course, Draco wasn't breaking in. He worked there. But Giovanna wanted Goyle there too. They gave him a polyjuice potion that would only last an hour, so they would have to hurry it up. He was polyjuicing as some random low-level Unspeakable. His name was Harry, coincidentally enough. Giovanna looked at his Ministry badge before they left. Harry Thatcher. Well, he would do. No one would probably bat an eye about him not knowing things so well since he was new. And Draco leading the way made sense, since Draco was the Head Unspeakable for the department. But Draco did review with Giovanna and Goyle both there the layout and how to get to the hall of prophecies. the Department of Mysteries sure was a confusing place sometimes, for those who didn't know their way around.
So in walked Draco and Goyle or "Harry" into the Ministry of Magic. The Atrium was very busy, but they headed relatively quickly towards the lift with a few curt nods here and there to others as they passed them. Once they got inside, they were thankfully alone. "Just follow my lead," Malfoy said to Goyle with a stern look. Goyle was a bit of a mess, so Malfoy didn't want him to blow this. He wasn't about to lose his job over this, even if it was for Giovanna.

Gregory Goyle
It was an easy thing to say yes to Giovanna when she came calling for assistance. Even easier to go see Draco, his friend of many years now, to enlist his help as well. What came after this meeting was where he thrived. Action. Though using polyjuice potion was not his favourite thing in the world it did come in handy in this situation. As the Hogwarts Express Engineer he didn't have access to the Department of Mysteries, sadly, so he was now in the visage of one Harry Thatcher. Even the name 'Harry' had him a tad grumpy.
Again, he would do anything for Giovanna.
"Right behind you." Goyle said, testing his voice to try and mask it. It wouldn't be good if someone recognized his voice before they got to their goal and got out. Stiffly nodding to others, he hoped that if it were noticed that it would be chalked up to first-day nerves. Once they were more alone, he relaxed some, at least until the stern look was registered. Right, he had to do his best not to draw suspicion. Draco had a lot more to lose work-wise than Goyle in the end. "I will, trust me, I don't want to wander off down here."

Draco responded with silence. He adjusted the collar of his robes slightly. Once they got to level 3, the lift stopped. He tried to remain calm as he took a step closer to the wall. He wasn't sure how many people were entering, but there definitely was going to be someone.
A lady came on board and asked if they were going up. Draco let out a curt grunt with a nod and he watched as the woman pressed the number 5.
They stopped at number 5 and as she got out, someone asked if they were going up.
"Down," he said deeply.
Disappointed, the person stepped back and let them go on their way. Thankfully no one else got on the lift for the rest of the journey down to the final level: The Department of Mysteries.
It was rather quiet when they got off the lift. The Department of Mysteries had a lot of space but not a lot of people. There were various rooms for experiments as well as the quarantined room. Even though everyone had the cure to the plague now, the plague room was still quarantined. No one wanted to work on it. It had been quarantined for over a decade with the plague just floating inside it. It made sense to keep it sealed off.
Draco looked around a bit. "This way," he decided, and they walked towards one of the main rooms. He found a desk and went through some papers. With any luck, they would be retrieving two things today.
After a minute where Goyle looked quite uncomfortable waiting, Draco led him towards the time room. There were various time turners tucked away in the back and he pocketed one before leaving abruptly. He shook his head at Goyle before he even could say anything about getting one himself. Goyle? With a Time Turner? That was the most irresponsible thing. It only would end badly for him.
They had to walk down a couple of corridors but finally they made it to the Hall of Prophecies. There were a lot of prophecies lined up and down the high shelves. It would probably take a while to find it. "Let's split up," he said. "You start at the end and we'll meet in the middle." Too bad there wasn't a shortcut. Draco started his walk down it and started looking for the prophecy. It was new, so he ignored any of the ones that had accumulated a lot of dust on them. Any of the ones that looked like they were placed there recently (sans dust), he read the names to see if it involved Giovanna. None yet, but he would get there soon.

Gregory Goyle
The silence that met his statement made him grunt a little and maintain his own thoughts internally. This all rested on playing it cool which was easy enough to do as long as he stuck close to Draco and pretended to just be a dumb new intern he'd be golden. Not hard to play that off, either, since he had no idea what was down in the department of mysteries.
Luck was on his side that he didn't need to say much and no one seemed to expect them to either, at least neither of the two they had run into had. The entire ride down he stood awkwardly to one side of him, eyes glancing to him every now and then. It was almost like old times, minus Crabbe of course, which had a weird sense of nostalgia.
Considering the emptiness of the department upon first coming into it Gregory had to imagine that it was always this way. A mysterious place with secretive personnel made a whole lot of sense to him, even if it creeped him out to high degree. Being down here made him glad his own job was in a much more populated area and generally only when he wasn't outside.
Either way he was getting antsy as they stood there, not keen on encountering anyone while they stood here. Subtlety was not his middle name which could spell trouble if confronted. The time turner room did hold some intrigue and he opened his mouth to ask about one for himself. At least he had been going to until the shake of his head had him sighing. "Alright."
A wistful glance was passed over them before following Draco away from it. It was probably for the best he didn't have one, as much as he wished to take one anyway. Instead he focused on the second half of their task, the prophecy. "Will be faster that way." He agreed as the plan become searching for the prophecy separately. With so many small foggy orbs it would still take them some time to find the one they were after.
Moving to start at his end he made slow progress down the aisle of orbs, eyes scanning them slowly as he searched for the one they wanted. All these orbs and he had to wonder if they were all real or just remembral's stuck in here to make people think there were more seers than there actually were. It was slow and tedious but eventually he found it. A bran new shiny orb with a familiar name on it.

Goyle stating the obvious as always. But at least he was there and helping. Draco wouldn't have wanted to do this by himself.
He scanned over the various rows and columns and shelves. This could really take a long time. Too bad there wasn't some sort of locator spell.
They had wandered quite far from each other in their search for the prophecy contained orb but Draco heard Goyle when he yelled out that he found it. Draco strode briskly towards him, not wanting Goyle to break it or ruin it.
Thankfully Goyle was just standing there, looking dim as ever, waiting like he didn't know what else to do with himself. "Okay. Good," Draco said when he found him. Not just good that he found it, but good that Goyle hadn't ruined it. Not when Draco wasn't there to witness it.
He looked up at it. Thankfully, it wasn't on a super high shelf. Just 5 feet off the ground. He felt rather tall as he looked at it, not used to that height.
W.S. to E.M.C. Giovanna Nero & Blaise Cunningham
Draco tilted his head for a moment, curious about it. Not just Giovanna, but Eliza's spawn? Well this was rather interesting, wasn't it? He took his time considering it. After all, only the subject could grab it. They had been in there quite a while, though. It took a bit to get down to the Department of Mysteries, nevermind find their way to the Hall of Prophecy, and then also the time it took to find the orb.
Draco reached out his hand towards the orb and as he did, his hair started to grow and turn to a dark brown, his eyes turned from grey to blue, and his masculine features quickly turned to Giovanna's. It felt good to finally be herself again and not her ex. It was nice that he agreed to it, though. It made things more simple. She still could have without his consent, but then she'd have to make sure he wasn't at the Ministry that day for some reason.
She grabbed the orb and brought it towards herself. She was the subject of the prophecy, absolutely able to grab it without being cursed with madness.
Goyle didn't react too much. Other than being displeased their polyjuice hadn't lasted very long. But he definitely knew that it was her the entire time.
Giovanna considered the orb for a moment. She wasn't entirely sure they would get out of there easily now. And she couldn't risk having this be for naught. She turned to Goyle sharply. "Quiet," she demanded. He wasn't making noise, but now he knew not to.
She smashed the orb on the ground and watched as a misty figure that looked like someone who was barely an adult come and start to say the prophecy.
"The one who will unite the old magics rises."
Was that her? She would unite old magics? Like blood magic, or-- But then she listened on.
"She will rouse serpents to her cause."
Ah, Slytherin... purebloods.
"Black flames will consume the world. The old ways will return."
Giovanna couldn't help but smile at this part.
"Only the heir of the most beloved adversary Stands a chance to stop the serpentine crusade"
Her smile faded when she heard that part, though. She didn't want anyone to stop her if she was destined to do all these great things. The heir to her most beloved adversary? Well she could see why they would assume that was Eliza's kid. That was the only thing that made sense.
"Born of Caesar's month in the darkest year."
She didn't know when he was born but she could always check that out.
"Callisto will stand powerless to stop either one. The essence will be inessential to the mission. The bell will toll nine times."
Giovanna didn't understand any of that just yet but hopefully she would in time.
The mist dissipated, the prophecy gone. Of course, whoever received the prophecy would still have the memory. But Giovanna would also have her memory of viewing it. That would be good enough. That's why Goyle had to be quiet.
"Okay, let's go," she said simply.
By now, Goyle was also himself again. They didn't have any extra polyjuice because they didn't want that to be detected in case they had random searches at the entrance. That wouldn't look very good if they were carrying around polyjuice potion.

Gregory Goyle
Thank Merlin the searching was over. Staying here too long steadily increased the likelihood of them being down here and getting caught in the prophecies, not something either of them would be able to explain easily. Not that he would be the one explaining, per say, as he might make matters worse.
Holding his wand for light he simply observed Draco as he leaned in to inspect the orb on the shelf. It sort of boggled his mind to think that each and every one of these was a prophecy given about someone, and he was curious why they even bothered to keep some of the old one's that were likely useless by now.
Gregory also knew when to be entirely silent so he didn't go on asking about them, nor the one Draco was now reaching for. As he did the true form beneath was revealed and he smiled a little. Goyle much preferred this one. Not that he would say that out loud, again, as she might not take it well.
Briefly he opened his mouth to acknowledge what she said before deciding it was likely better to just nod. Last thing he wanted to do was talk over the prophecy. Once broken the orb would only say it once after all. So he opted for nodding and staying silent as he watched the prophecy be smashed on the ground between them.
The mist rose out of it and what looked like a child started speaking words. It made his skin crawl how the voice didn't seem to match the kids form, even knowing it was how prophecies worked it was still creepy. Seers and Prophets were strange even in the world of magic and Gregory was certainly glad he didn't know any personally.
As the prophecy went on to be recited he found himself frowning as he tried to decipher its meaning. Likely only Giovanna would know, since it all sounded like nonsense riddles to him. Callisto and Caeser's darkest month is around when his confusion made him zone out, not truly paying attention to the words as he waited for it to be done.
"Right." With their disguises now gone he was not sure how they would leave here without being noticed. Goyle maybe a bit easier since he sort of worked in the Ministry, but that meant getting to the main Ministry areas he had access to. It was a question worth answering as he turned to make their way out of here. "How are you going to pass through the buiser areas?"

"Don't worry, I have a plan for getting out."
They walked over to the lift as themselves. Giovanna had her wand ready in her hand. They got in, thankfully no one else was there. Of course, various people could potentially join them on their way upwards to the Atrium. As it was further into the day and not near lunch time, not a lot of people were going to and fro. However, there were some enchanted letters that came into the lift with them and then exited on another floor. Giovanna gripped her wand tighter every time the door opened but thankfully it was never a person.
They somehow got back to the Atrium in one piece, but then there were a lot of people there. There was the security, as well as various people meeting others in the Atrium. Some guests coming there for various reasons as well. There probably were lots of people who were taking lifts down, now that Giovanna thought about it, but not a lot up at that time of day. They really lucked out.
They started to walk towards the exit by the fireplaces when someone in security spotted them. They started to run towards the pair.
Giovanna continued to walk at a normal pace. "Remember how I said I have a plan?"
Goyle grunted slightly to show he did.
"You're it," she said as she turned towards him and pushed Goyle right into the security guard running towards them. Then she bolted towards the fireplaces, dodging a few people who weren't sure what was going on, and exited by Floo to Hogsmeade. Goyle was left caught and soon to be arrested for the break-in. Just as Giovanna planned it.

Gregory Goyle
Gregory just nodded when she said she had a plan to get out of here, trusting her completely. He followed her to the lifts, his wand idly in hand just in case backup was needed. Not that he anticipated running into anyone until they reached more populated floors. They got extremely lucky that none of the door openings were people, the paper notes fluttering above them just inter-office memos that couldn't recognize them which was good.
Until the Atrium. It was full of people which meant they were going to have to be careful about getting out of here without being seen. Gio in particular. While Greg worked here she did not and getting her out of here unseen was the most important part of the job. Quietly and without drawing attention he walked with her toward the exit fireplaces, feeling a bit reassured that they were going to pull this off right up until security began to run toward them.
"Yes?"
In retrospect he should have asked what the plan was.
Getting shoved backward into the security guard meant that he was not going to leave here. It took him a fair bit longer than a normal person to come to the conclusion that this had been her plan, perhaps from the very start. Puzzled but soon disarmed and arrested he stayed silent, knowing from experience that anything he said would make things worse. Clamping his mouth shut he simply let himself be led away.
