ARES CRIVELLI walked for a bit and found the Pond. He found a golden feather there, the last object. But then he got attacked by a Kappa! He also saw HENRI FONTAINE and CALVIN KLEIN there.
((He lost 2 HP. Also, I made a mistake earlier. He found the branch at the Greenhouses and would have found the feather at the Pond. Just needs the Plaza and Quidditch items now. Not that he knows that but ooc you do. Sorry about that.))

Her spell missed and she got bitten. It wasn't too terrible of a pain though, and she was almost back at the Observatory now.
This close to the tower, the exact direction she took wouldn't matter much. She might miss the entrance if she went too far left or right, but she wouldn't walk all the way to an entirely different location, leaving the massive structure behind.
[North, will just walk around the tower until she finds the entrance instead of wandering off somewhere]

TOBIAS ALVAREZ tried the spell again but the creature was already gone.
((Sorry I forgot to say it went away, but they always do in this Task and probably every Task to be honest.))
SILVIA ODETTE STIRLING went north and got to the base of the Osservatorio. She ascended the stairs to get to the main area again. When she did, all of her items started jiggling and when she put them all together, they all assembled together into a large ornate key that was about 12cm in length. Now she had to unlock the chest.

Ares got attacked yet again. He wasn't going to try his luck in the dark so he took out his pocket watch and let it freeze the creature so he could be on his way. He saw two other Champions there, though, so he also kept his eye on them, making sure that they wouldn't try something on him. He did have all his items, after all.

Henri found a golden feather, and it was a good thing. He smiled as he held it, but was suddenly attacked by a Kappa. If he remembered correctly, Henri came to remember that the Kappas had a bad reputation for feeding on humans. He made a move as he startled and tried to walk away, but his wand quickly pointed to the creature, until a male voice distracted him and hearing the spell’s name, caused the French boy to mimic "Flipendo!" said with a rough voice and hoping to get rid of the creature, and after that, looked at Calvin "It was a Kappa. A creature that feeds on human blood, if I’m not mistaken." he replied, frowning.

As she walked up to the tower, eyes scanning the surroundings warily, Silvia noticed someone sitting on a rock close to the base. She stopped, realizing it was one of the other champions. A French one, her memory supplied. Desiree, wasn't it? The Beauxbatons representative looked quite battered, probably more than Silvia was - and she didn't look like a pretty picture herself, either. Why was the other girl just sitting there, instead of entering the Observatory? The only possible explanation, it seemed, was that she didn't have all the items yet. This was simply a safe spot to rest before continuing, if she even wanted to continue. By the looks of it, another attack from an aggressive creature might knock her out - perhaps that's why she wasn't hurrying to return to the dark and perilous fields around Firenze.
Had Silvia not collected all five items by now, she might have ignored the French girl. Some part of her may have even felt relieved to see a competitor in a worse state than she was. Now, however, she mostly just felt concerned. A small part of that concern had to do with the possibility of Desiree attacking her to steal her items, but mostly it was just compassion for a fellow human being. Silvia might have been in the same situation right now, if she hadn't picked the watch.
Which gave her an idea.
She lit her wand, dispelling the darkness around herself and trying to ensure that her approach would not startle the brunette. Then she walked closer, doing her best to look non-threatening. "Are you alright?" A silly thing to ask, really; she doubted if any of the champions felt alright at the moment, wandering the grounds and getting pounced at by magical creatures or grabbed by plants. Perhaps she should just cut to the chase. "I'm heading back to the Observatory," she began, deciding that it was the subtlest and the least braggy way of saying that she already had the five items she needed. "If you'd like, I can trade you my watch for... for whatever it was you picked from your chest? It freezes the attacking creature, and you can escape. Only, it has a sort of cooldown, so you can't use it all the time." There had been no rule against trading their starting items. She only wasn't sure if she could complete the task without one - but it shouldn't matter which one it was, should it?
She held the pocket watch out by the chain, offering it to Desiree.
[Offers DESIREE FONTAINE to trade the pocket watch for the necklace]
* * *
After climbing up the stairs, Silvia took a moment to catch her breath. No other champion had been behind her, so she didn't feel like she had to race. Someone - or a few someones - may have already finished with the task, but that did not mean she should stumble in and dash to the center of the room. It was best to look composed, confident, strong. She was representing Dahshur, she had to impress the audience rather than make them laugh at her appearance.
The break wasn't a long one; the teen merely brushed the worst of the dirt off her robes and waited until her breathing became more steady, then walked into the Observatory at a brisk, purposeful pace. There was a handful of champions here already, causing her heart to drop momentarily... before she realized they weren't here already, but rather still here. No flags adorned their telescopes, they seemed to be stuck looking for their constellations. Was she the first one to come back from the grounds, then? It certainly seemed so.
Keeping an unfazed expression on her face and quite aware of everyone watching her, she walked over to the chest in the middle of the circular room, taking the five items out of her pocket as she did so. They began quivering and moving on their own, soon merging into a key. Well, that made it easier to unlock the chest; she had been worrying about that part, thinking there might be a puzzle to solve - and at the moment, she was in no shape to do puzzles.
Silvia slipped the ornate key into the keyhole and twisted it.
[Unlocks the chest]

Okay, well that was sorted. Now Ares just had to get back to the Osservatorio. He spun around andd tried to get his bearings but it was really hard at night. Hmm... He decided on a way to go, hopefully not the same as the other two boys near him. One was HENRI FONTAINE, who he already met at the beginning of the task, and they did help each other out, but Ares couldn't trust anyone in this Task. If he couldn't be trusted, then no one else could either.

Ares was clearly turned around. If he had made it to the Trail from the Pond... That meant he was quite turned around and going in the opposite direction. He used the Four-Point spell to try and get his bearings and then he walked in a direction he hoped was the right one.

Desiree was exhausted. She would not give up, it was simply not in her nature, but her motivation to get up from her current seating position and go back into the school grounds was waning. Head slumped down, she stared at the ground as she tried to gather the remainder of her strength to stand up. Suddenly she heard something nearby, and her head snapped up quickly, wand in her hand ready to defend herself if necessary. The barrage of creatures had definitely put her on edge.
This time, it wasn’t a creature, however, but another student. With their wand lit, Desiree recognized them as one of the Dahshur representatives, the one that had previously attended Hogwarts from what she had heard. “I’m fine,” she responded curtly to Silvia’s question, unwilling to show any weakness during such a competition, despite how tired she may be. Desiree wondered at first if Silvia was simply speaking to her to brag about her success, since she mentioned returning to the Osservatorio, presumably with all five required items, but then she did something unexpected. She offered to swap objects, to… help Desiree?
Maeve’s words from her latest letter swirled in Desiree’s head. She had mentioned that Silvia was not to be trusted, that she had fled some sort of deception at Hogwarts the previous year. Yet, here she was offering Desiree a much needed advantage, one that seemed much more useful than the necklace she had chosen. Was Silvia trying to trick her? Give her the watch then report her for cheating, getting her kicked out of the competition?
Desiree searched the girl’s face for signs of her true intentions, but all she could see was a genuine desire to help, and at that point Desiree could use all the help she could get. If there was a price to be paid later, she would deal with it then. Standing up from the rock, she took off the necklace and held it out for Silvia to take, holding out her other hand for the pocket watch. “Merci,” was all she could say in response at the moment, not quite sure what else could be said. There would be time to speak later, after the task was complete.
As soon as Desiree had the watch in her hand, and Silvia had entered the Osservatorio, she made her way back out to find the last two items. She knew at this point she wouldn’t be first, maybe not even second, but she would at the very least complete the task.

Ugh, another creature. Why did this keep happening? He decided to see if the pocket watch would help like it had before. He didn't have time to worry about the other champions he had run into.

ARES CRIVELLI arrived in Field 1. He was attacked by an Ashwinder!
DESIREE FONTAINE took the watch and left the Osservatorio. She walked for a bit and ended up in Field 6. She got attacked by an Ashwinder!
TOBIAS ALVAREZ used the pocket watch and saw the creature froze in place, giving him just enough time to get away.
SILVIA ODETTE STIRLING exchanged items with DESIREE FONTAINE. Then she took her newly transfigured key and opened the chest in the middle of the room. Now she had to grab her flag and plant it in the hole at the top of the telescope she used at the beginning of the task and she would be done!
