Another field, yet still no objects. In the dark, on an unfamiliar campus, it was getting difficult for Desiree to orient herself, particularly when all of these blasted fields appeared the same. What she would give for some kind of marker with which she could orient herself. Wand gripped in one hand, pocket watch in the other, she kept trudging forward, hoping something would lead her where she needed to be.

She was given the maximum score, which meant a definite advantage in the next task. It was a satisfying conclusion to the whole ordeal, enough to revitalize Silvia. Well, getting to rest in the tent, bandaging up the injuries and cleaning up the remaining dirt off her robes had helped as well.
Mere minutes after joining the spectators and accepting the hushed congratulations from her schoolmates, Silvia sensed boredom begin seeping in. Nothing of the action taking place outside could be seen or heard from here. Still, the dullness was welcome after escaping all those creatures and plants that had attacked her. Therefore, she sat quite placidly and waited.
Who would complete the task next? Part of her hoped it would be Desiree, because that would grant a sort of second victory for Silvia - watching someone she'd helped being successful. Or perhaps it would be Tobias, the former housemate she vaguely remembered from her early schooling at Selveira. Her co-champion for Dahshur, Azra, had not yet finished the first part of the task and was not likely to do well, sadly. Other competitors were not familiar enough for Silvia to root for them.
Finally, the next returning champion entered the Observatory. Oh, right, there was one more familiar competitor, one her mind somehow omitted. Ares was the second one to complete the task. Good for him. She joined the cheering crowd, figuring she should show support to all the champions. After all, Ares probably wasn't a bad guy - even if he had the annoying habit of using flirtatious adjectives when addressing her.

Henri was getting frustrated, as each time seemed to be much more difficult. He bit his lower lip and realized that it was not the watch that he should look for, because he did not have it, but the mirror. How stupid he felt. In the mirror they pointed out three different directions, in which he finally decided to take one of them.

Ares found the flag and quickly grabbed it. He walked briskly towards the telescope that he used at the beginning of the Task, which seemed like ages ago. He would be so glad to have this over with. Stumbling around in the dark wasn't his idea of a fun time and he hoped that they would do the next tasks at a better time of the day. Or just any time of the day.
After that was done, he was escorted out of the Osservatorio and back to the Champions tent until his score was calculated. He hoped he wouldn't do too badly.

ARES CRIVELLI planted the flag in the telescope and went back to the tent. After a while, a Ministry employee escorted him back and found him a seat with the rest of the audience.

Having gone in the direction he had tried to follow, followed by the indications of the mirror, he arrived at the place and found a small gold disc. He stared curiously, wondering if it was going to be some useful object or something. But after a few minutes, he decided it was an object for later. He shrugged and decided again to use the mirror, which hopefully could be finished the task.

Desiree swore under her breath when she reached the edge of the school grounds. Another dead end. Was she doomed to just go around in circles and never find the last two objects? Just as she was about to leave, she noticed another competitor arrive at the opposite end of the field and promptly get attacked by gnomes. He froze them using his own pocket watch, luckily, and Desiree quickly used the opportunity to get away before they began moving again.
