Herbology wasn't exactly a place nor a subject that Calvin particularly enjoyed. He found the art of chopping up live animated plants rather gruesome especially when some of them could actually scream. That and the fact he couldn't stand the smell of the fertiliser amongst other things in the plant kingdom. Yet, here he was exploring the very same thing he found the most disturbing.
He found certain things in this world rather scary on that note. He avoided to the best of his ability any creature that had more than four legs or less than two. Anything that buzzed around was also out of the question and don't even get Calvin started on his fear with spiders. The sun was bright and shining as Calvin ventured into the Greenhouses to find a particular plant he would use for his potions making.
Exploring the Greenhouses, he was quite amazed at just how big this was compared to the old garage shed they had back home. "Wowza! Mr. Hawthorne would be very impressed with this place. " He called out thinking of the Magical Herbology Professor back home. Oblivious to what he was walking around, Calvin managed to bump into a small pot of dirt that fell to the ground and cracked.
"Ahh crap." He whispered as he crouched down only to notice a set of legs in the distance. "Was this yours? If so, I'm sorry. "He paid no attention to who it was but he had just hoped it wasn't a Professor of some sort. He didn't exactly have permission to be in the Greenhouses in the first place...

Henri was in the greenhouse. He had asked for express permission to be in the greenhouse and work with the plants. The first task he performed was so stressful that the stress still remained days later. After all, coming to the greenhouse wasn’t a bad idea. With the plantations, looking at some plants and things like that. He was emptying one of the pots, focused on the task. He was performing a transplantation to a new pot, and Henri wanted to examine the roots, which he thought were in poor condition and needed to do put the plant in a new pot. As soon as he managed to undo some of the land to have a better visibility of the roots “I think something is missing...” he murmured.
He snapped his fingers and went for a moment to the warehouse, where he was searching inside, keeping in mind to find the bag of a specific fertilizing that served to grow this plant. As soon as he found the sack, he took it to the table where he tore the bag and poured some of it into the pot, mixing it with some soil. When it was full enough, he added the plant he had been working on. He was so focused, he didn’t notice anyone. He just went back to the warehouse to get a rake and a small shovel, so he could dig a little. He added the plant in the new pot and watered a little, noting strongly that he was doing a good job. Henri was very careful with his work, you could say...
Something distracted his attention, and it turned out to be Calvin. He recognized him for having been on the same task as his “Oh, Calvin! Good to see you.” greeted with a tense smile. Both had not had much interaction back there. He leaned to one side to see a broken pot “Don’t worry about it.” responded by removing the wand, where he waved it while performing a spell and thus having the pot magically fixed. Henri looked directly at Calvin, “It wasn’t mine. I was working with this plant. It will be someone else’s, so I wouldn’t really worry. Besides, it’s fixed, isn’t it?” he asked smiling. He stayed focused, working with the plant still.

Truth be told, Calvin’s heart was racing so fast he could almost hear the slight humming sound his heart beat provided through his ear canals. Still crouching down, Calvin tried his best to identify the voice that matched the set of legs that stood in front of him. Surely there had to be more to this mysterious person than the two legs standing before him. Despite not instantly recognising the voice, he was able to determine that it wasn’t someone from his own school.
Slowly creeping up with eyes just above the ledge, Calvin met the eyes of Henri Fontaine. “ Ahh, G’day Henri!!” He greeted in typical Australian slang suddenly taking a small sigh of relief as he took a small step back wondering if he would explain or not. He wondered if Henri was on some sort of prefect duty at the school.
“ Ahh the repairing spell aye? “ He welcomed the king gesture Henri performed for him as he watched everything come back together quickly quickly. “ A very well done spell too if I do say so myself. “ He added before smiling at him. “ What brings you to the Greenhouses? Bit of planting, pruning or sneaking? “ He let out a small laugh before placing his fingers on a nearby pot plant.
