Roxanne was walking with Leo and leading the way, as was customary. They were in constant contact as well so they wouldn't get lost from each other. But they were chatting away and Roxanne did end up getting them lost from their directions.
"Wait, hang on... I thought this stairway was supposed to take us to the sixth floor from the third floor, a shortcut. But now I have no idea where we are." Roxanne hoped that Leo wouldn't be too upset. "I'm sorry, Leo," she said. After five years, somehow finding a new area they hadn't seen before? That was a little surprising but then again, it was Hogwarts.

Although he'd developed a system for getting where he needed to go on his own, it was always nice to have a friend to walk around with instead, and Leo didn't pay as much attention when he was chatting with Roxanne. At the top of the stairs, however, Roxanne admitted that she had no idea where they were going.
Leo burst out laughing. "We're practically like first years again." he said when he finally stopped. He'd been a bit of a disaster trying to find classes. Both of them were prefects now, and yet they were lost again. Hogwarts was pretty big. It made sense there were areas even they hadn't discovered yet.
"What's around us? Any portraits?" It had been a while since Leo was in a new area of the castle, but portraits were usually helpful.

"I'm sorry," Roxanne repeated again. But she did have a chuckle with Leo as well. Two Prefects lost like little first years, it was funny if she thought about it, but also a little embarrassing too.
"Erm.." Roxanne looked around her. It actually was quite dark where they were, so it was a little hard to see. "Well, we're in a narrower than usual corridor, dimly lit, and I'm not really seeing any portraits, no." Roxanne lost contact with Leo for a moment as she swirled around. "Actually I can't even find the opening of the portrait that led us here." She linked arms with him again. "I guess all we can do is go forward, then?" she asked. There really wasn't much else they could do, so they started to walk onwards. Roxanne hoped they would find an exit soon.

Leo shrugged. He had been no stranger to get lost in the early years. The fact that it happened to others meant something to him, mostly that he wasn't as different as people thought he was.
"Yikes. Usually the portraits are at least a little helpful." Leo said, thinking about the times that they had helped him figure out where he was. He was thankful that she kept talking though, as it gave him an idea of where she was even when they weren't in contact.
"Forward sounds good to me." Leo agreed, "Do you think maybe we're in the basement? Maybe we'll see one of my fellow Slytherins and they'll help us out. Or laugh at us. One of the two, at least."
Leo started walking, listening for any familiar sounds. Unfortunately, everything seemed to feel the same. Unfortunate, but not unusual considering that many of Hogwarts' corridors looked the same as each other, especially if somebody got lost.
