Was it really only Friday? It seemed like so much longer since she’d sent the Hogwarts students off until the Christmas holiday. Or maybe it felt longer because she was already running around repairing and replacing school supplies? Whatever the reason, she was busy and needed to get everything done before the shops closed.
She’d already popped into Dervish and Banges and Honeydukes, all that was left was Scrivenshafts. Hestia wasn’t sure how he’d done it, but one week in Noah had already lost three quills and broken his Remembrall. Was it possible for them to break due to overuse? Until him, she’d never met a child that could lose something right in front of their face. Unfortunately, all he had to do was smile to get out of trouble. He didn’t purposely lose things and he was impossible to stay mad at.
Walking into Scrivenshafts she wondered if there were quills that followed kids around like a pet. She was willing to pay anything if it meant he couldn’t lose yet another quill.
The long journey back to Diagon Alley was always a troublesome journey from Hogwarts. Having to wait for the train or finding a floo network that worked in these areas was often tricky. To add to that, the traumatic ordeal of having flashback memories of spending lunch there at the Ministry flooded his mind. Thankfully, there was a store called Scrivenshafts in Hogsmeade. He wanted to prepare himself for the upcoming term by taking an inventory of writing materials for his class. Walking into the store, he found himself bumping into someone else. " Excuse my intrusions. " He said in a charming voice smiling his pearly white teeth.
