THE SCHOOL YEARS are calculated as if their birthday was between January-August. If it's September-December, though, they would go to school in the next year. So if you choose a birthday in the later range, let us know that they will be a year younger so we can make the adjustment on here. <3 Also if you notice their school year and birth year are off by a year, that means their birthday is probably in September-December and that's why but don't be afraid to ask. <3
