Alyssa was in a lot of ways scared about what they could be expecting and being away from her father, was going to kill her. Sure she did it and last year, she did it well, but now it was not seeing him for an extended period of time. It was safe to say she was a little scared, sitting in her dorm, she sighed thinking about home, and had to find some kind of way to amuse herself.
This year had to get better in some shape or form.
Or so Alyssa wanted to believe, but she also knew there wasn't much she could do. What if her dad went out of her safezone had been one of her first thoughts, what would she do without him? He couldn't die on her, but she was going to try. Although she had to make the point of seeing every part of Hogwarts, and not letting anyone get in the way of that right now.
Kirby wasn't sure if he believed whatever was going on. This just seemed like a lame reason to have everyone back at the school. There were too many people and he felt grumpy about the whole ordeal. So moving around, he wasn't really thinking too much. He made it into the common room before spotting someone else.
"Lyssa." He looked at her carefully. He was pretty sure she trusted the staff at Hogwarts, even though he didn't. "What are you doing?"

Alyssa turned when she heard the voice of one of her housemates. “Oh hey Kirby.” she said with a bit of a sigh. He was the muggleborn who didn't believe what was going on, but she also didn't judge people. “I am enjoying peace and quiet you know. How about you still denying the fact your a wizard?” asked Alyssa, who deep down felt the muggle world was probably far more interesting. She didn't believe in purism at all.
