Reminder about TB rules

As we all know, the most important things to keep an RP community going is treating everyone with at least basic decency, and to try to make everyone feel welcome and included. Everyone here is a writer first, regardless of whether they are staff or a member, and we all want to be able to enjoy writing, to plot with others and to take part in site plots. Both staff and members put a lot of effort into their characters and their plots, into developing each character they create and supporting the site plot. Everyone deserves to be treated equally, respectfully and with decency, and everyone deserves to be allowed to enjoy their plots without having people bring negativity into them constantly, or being excluded from plots that others get to enjoy.
It is sad that this needs to be said, but the most basic rule of TB is to treat everyone respectfully and kindly. Everyone deserves at least that. Not only that, but we all put time and effort into the site because we enjoy writing, and we all deserve to be able to write and have a good time. Not respecting this is breaking the most fundamental rule of the site, and the most fundamental rule of RP, so this cannot be accepted.
If you find yourself differentiating between members, or treating staff like they are not people just like you just trying to enjoy RP, ask yourself if you would like to be treated in this way. TB is made possible by the many hours of work that staff put into it, and at the end of the day all of us would like to be able to enjoy the plots we've worked to create. Excluding staff from RP events and plots, and consistently treating them like they don't deserve to enjoy them the same as any other member, will eventually only lead to the people who make it all possible not wanting to do it anymore. Please keep in mind that everything that happens on TB comes out of genuine love for the site and genuine love for RP, but consistent poor treatment can turn that love into indifference, and then none of us will be able to enjoy TB any longer.
