"Yeah." Lee Ji-Hyun said, as she nodded her head and smiled back at her friend, she waited for her Lottie to be ready continued on their way looking for this so-called pool. She puts her hands above her head to stretch them out, as they are feeling a little stiff and then puts them in the pockets of her pants. As they were walking through the halls, looking at the other students who were around and turned back to look at her friend.
"My older siblings had no problem telling someone that they liked them, I am not brave enough to tell someone that and I would be too scared they would either laugh or he would say that he doesn't see me that." Lee Ji-Hyun said, that is why she hasn't said anything to him.
"Yeah, Let's head for the sixth floor." Lee Ji-Hyun said, starting to walk with her to the staircase in the direction of the sixth floor.
"I don't know either, I am trying to be brave enough to say something to him. But I am worried he would say that he only sees me as a friend and nothing more. That would be very sad to know." Lee Ji-Hyun said.

"Yeah, I think it's hard to know, really. Sorry, I have absolutely no experience with that myself." Lottie was just starting to like boys now, not having really done so before. But she didn't have any crushes just yet. She did start to notice that some boys were suddenly cute, though, who she didn't think were before.
"I wish boys' faces would turn rainbow colours or something when they liked you, so you knew it was safe to say something." Something really obvious so there was no doubt. But unfortunately the world just didn't work like that.
They got back to the staircases and were ascending now towards the sixth floor. Then one of the staircases started to move and bring them up another floor so they didn't have to walk. Lottie stood there, holding onto the railing casually as she turned towards her friend. "I think you should say something, though. Or... maybe ask him to Hogsmeade or something. Like next time we go to Hogsmeade. And ask if he wants to go to the Three Broomsticks with you. Then you can see his reaction." It might be a friend thing, it might be a date thing, but his reaction probably would tell what he wanted to do. At least to Lottie, it felt more neutral, more safe, rather than flat out saying 'I like you!' to a boy.

"Yeah. I don't have any experience with it either, I haven't been date with anyone before." Lee Ji-Hyun said, this time she had a crush on someone and it was kind of shocking that it was on her own best friend. She looks around as they walk, sees some other students and puts one hand in the pocket of her jeans. She didn't want to think about her crush right now, just wanted to enjoy her time with her best friend Lottie and see if they actually find a pool in the school.
"Yeah, some people end up never saying anything to the people they like and that person ends up with someone else." Lee Ji-Hyun said, she knows a few people who that has happened too.
They made it back to the staircase, now heading towards the direction of the sixth floor and then the staircase started moving, bringing them up another floor. They didn't have to walk now, she stood still while holding onto the railing and heard Lottie say something. "I could ask him, I mean it has been a little while since the last time we hung out. I will ask him the next time I see him." Lee Ji-Hyun said, thinking maybe she would ask him if he likes anyone at the moment and see what he says first.

The staircase stopped and let them off at the sixth floor so they got out and started walking down the corridor to find this secret swimming pool.
"But you know what? Everyone has never been on a date before at some point in their lives. And somehow they can do it, so I'm sure we can do it too!" Maybe it was awkward or terrible but Lottie felt that she was right. All the adults who were married now or older students who had boyfriends and girlfriends all had a first date at some point. And they somehow got that despite having no experience. So if everyone else in existence could do it, Lottie was sure that Lee and herself could too. "I'd be in more solidarity with you if I had someone to pursue, though," Lottie admitted. She didn't have anyone she was pining over just then but maybe one day someone in her class would catch her eye.
"Yeah, that just sounds super sad to me," Lottie admitted. She sounded a little down there, clearly talking about sadness, not someone being pathetic.
"Yes, you can do it!" Lottie said enthusiastically. She hoped it worked out for her friend. She deserved to be happy! Although this dating thing usually ended up with lots of ups and downs, especially with teen hormones in the mix, but Lottie didn't know about that just yet.
They walked down the sixth corridor and there seemed to be nothing there, so they turned around and went back to the staircases. "Next floor up?" Lottie asked.

The staircase finally stopped and they got off the stairs, they were on the sixth floor. Lee Ji-Hyun followed Lottie down the corridor, starting to wonder if this swimming pool was actually real and looked around.
"Yeah, I know. If I can work up to nerve to ask him out." Lee Ji-Hyun said, she has been wanted to do it and hasn't brave enough yet to ask him and wonders if she ever will. She wonders how her older siblings were brave enough to their wives and husband, she has never asked them that question before and thinks she might ask them one of these days. "So, you really don't have anyone you like?" Lee Ji-Hyun asked, she had to admit it surprised her and also there is no one trying to pursue her, Lottie is a pretty girl she thought.
"It is sad." Lee Ji-Hyun said.
They continue walking through the sixth floor corridor looking for this secret swimming pool, still hasn't seen it and looks at her friend. "I hope so. I just hope I don't end up making a fool of myself." Lee Ji-Hyun said, she is worried she will get tongue-tied and mess up her words.
They end up turning around, since there is on pool here on this floor and start walking back to the staircase. "Sure." Lee Ji-Hyun said.

"Yeah, that's definitely a hard part of it," Lottie admitted. But it was just like anything: trying out for Quidditch, making a new friend... But somehow romance was just higher stakes. More room for embarrassment, rejection, emotional pain.
"I don't think you will. Honestly, I've seen the way he glances your way..." Lottie giggled again. "I think it's worth a shot!" Lottie was a little jealous but she was younger too. Maybe she would meet someone who looked at her that way or maybe she would start to look at someone that way herself! She didn't know, but she felt like she knew everyone at Hogwarts already. How can feelings just suddenly appear when they weren't there yesterday for someone who she saw every day for years? Was that how it worked? Would she just one day wake up and suddenly be in love with someone?
Lee agreed to try the seventh floor so they went up the stairs to it and started walking down it. This was very familiar to Lottie, since it's where Gryffindor Tower was, but they couldn't go there. Lee was in Ravenclaw. They stopped in one of the corridors, though, and Lottie started pacing back and forth.
"You know, I'm starting think this is all for naught." Lottie was of course referring to the swimming pool. "It's been fun chatting and wandering the castle with you, though! I hope you won't be too disappointed we never found the mystery pool." It was a long shot. If Hogwarts really had a pool, Lottie was sure that everyone would be there all the time and it would be a popular spot everyone talked about!
She kept pacing a bit as she didn't want to give up on the seventh floor just yet, thinking about how much she wished they could find the pool. Just then, the wall to her left opened up. Lottie was a little startled and jumped back a bit. "Whoa! What was that?"
She peered in and to her absolute amazement, it was the pool! "Lee, look! Merlin, I didn't think we'd find it! What happened? Did you step on a secret spot or something?"
((It's the room of requirement and they wanted to find a pool and did!))

"Yeah, it is. One of my other friends talked about how hard to tell her boyfriend that she liked him and how she almost messed it up." Lee Ji-Hyun said, remembers her friend talking about it.
"How did I not know that? When I would look over at him, he would be either talking to someone or doing his homework. I just have to be ready for him to say no, if he does say no. She didn't want to end up crying in front of him, if he replied with a no in the end and didn't want to show her feelings for him yet. All of sudden, she sees a first-year run past them and yell "OOGIE BOOGIE!" didn't know what that is all about.
They walked up the stairs to the seventh floor and walked down the stairs, this is also where the Gryffindor tower is. They had stopped in a corridor and saw Lottie start pacing back and forth, wondering if something was wrong.
"Oh really, I think should look for a little bit longer." Lee Ji-Hyun said, she didn't feel like stopping to look for it just yet. "It has been fun just chatting with each other and walking around. It is a lot better than studying, though we should be doing that since exams are coming up. And I'm not disappointed having not found the so-called pool." Lee Ji-Hyun said, though still thought they should look a bit longer. But if Lottie wanted to stop looking for the pool, then she wouldn't mind stopping and they can just do something else.
She watches as Lottie paces a bit more, then she sees the wall to Lottie's left open up and her eyes open up wide, wonders how that just appeared and looks at Lottie. "I have no idea, I have never seen that happen before." Lee Soo-Hyun said, as she shook her head.
"She goes over by Lottie, looks inside and there it is, the pool has been hidden inside this room and figured it didn't want to be easily found. Wondered what kind of room this was, why the room was hidden where no one couldn't be found easily by people. "I didn't think we find it either, I don't know." Lee Ji-Hyun said.
