Henri’s brow frowned, looking around. For now there was nothing, so he didn’t really look worried. Until he decided to take a new route, the right being the direction he was going to take. Something he hoped he wouldn’t have to face a troublesome obstacle... He was already too worried to see if any creature or anything could hurt his sister.

Well, Calvin was almost there - about to take the third place. Silvia readied herself to applaud, and quietly wondered what his score would be. Since Ares got 42, it should be something a bit less than that, shouldn't it?

"Finally!" He called out as he grabbed onto the Sapphire that resulted in him ending his turn in the game! At least he wasn't last and he performed much better than he originally thought he would.

Now three of them had finished the task, and Tobias was about to be the fourth. Silvia duly applauded Calvin, and then sat back to wait for his score to be decided. Were there criteria other than how fast each champion got across the field? Was efficiency of chosen route taken into account, or creativity in fighting obstacles?
Calvin was ushered off to the Champions Tent while the judges deliberated. He was brought back out and allowed to sit and watch with the rest of the spectators.

Silvia applauded yet again when Calvin's score was announced, wondering what that meant headstart-wise. She couldn't remember what his score for the first task was, so she didn't know if getting a 40 now put him in a better position than most other champions. Her own lead was clear, as was Ares'. Merlin, how she hoped the last task wouldn't be a maze. Having a headstart might mean nothing in a challenge where intuition and luck decided so much.

Taking a big gulp of water, Calvin joined Silvia and Ares. " What a round that was aye?" He said to Silvia as he tried to locate Ares but couldn't find him just yet. He placed third at this round meaning it was better than his last performance. However, he had a strange feeling that the next round would be different. He may not win the tournament but it was a goal to place at least in the top three.
