STRIPES ARE THE NEW FLORAL
Little news has come out of the Ministry regarding the recent pureblood purge, and it seems the natives are getting restless. The Minister's office has yet to release a comment on these drastic changes, so instead we've reached out to an ex-employee to get their perspective on the matter. The fired witch watcher wished to remain anonymous but they did have one word on the matter for us--"Stripes."
You heard it here, folks. Stripes. With more of them now than ever left jobless, they've had to get creative to keep themselves occupied. The main way they've been doing this is by shaking up the summer scene, and doing away with the normal staples such as florals and pastels. Instead, many socialites are opting for a bolder print. Vertical lines slim almost like magic; and bright, diagonals create a ray of sunshine in these dark times.
The dramatic mix-up has been credited to a new line at Bewitched Fashion, a local shop favorited by many of the wealthy and that's rumored to cater mainly to pureblood clientele. We've been unable to get in contact with creator of our new favorite robes, but we're on the edge of our seats to see just what they'll release come fall.
For the time being though, it seems certain lines have been clearly drawn, and we can't help but wonder if this candid reply to our inquiry on the state of things is as black and white as striped the culottes everyone has been dying to get their hands on.
