Hestia could still remember the first time she had visited the Three Broomsticks. It had been so exciting, finally getting to visit Hogsmeade and explore the the village. She never expected that one day she would live there, and be a regular in the child friendly pub. The auction item would be a great gift for an older child at Hogwarts.
THREE BROOMSTICKS VOUCHER
50 Galleon gift certificate.
If you like the simple life, then this auction item is for you!
Give it as a gift, or use it whenever you pop into to Three Broomsticks. This doesn't have to be used all at once, you can keep using it until you've spent all 50 Galleons.
This item was generously donated by the Three Broomsticks.
OOC: Since this is a silent auction your bid should be written on the available parchment and put in the ballot box on the table. Since we can actually see the bids, please remember that the last post is the winner, so feel free to chat with each other around the table <3

10 Galleons.
Eliza knew exactly what she would spend it on and she hoped she would win. She also hoped it would go up because she wouldn't want to get such a bargain when it was going to charity. But she knew it would. It was an auction, after all.
Silent auctions were fun, maybe he would win, maybe he wouldn't, it was fun just putting forward a number. Besides the more it went up the better the auction will have done, right? Right. Auberon would be happy either way. A good cause needed a little friendly competition.

30 Galleons.
Eliza wanered off and was hatting with some other and decided to go back to see her bid. Someone already outbid her! She looked around to see if there was anyone nearby it might be but then scrawled her bid on the parchment and went on her way again.
Jacob was a huge fan of silent auctions, especially when it meant he could help others, especially children who were not as fortunate as he was. Perhaps that was the reason behind the number he put forward in the box. He spotted a familiar face at the table and felt the need to greet this lady. "Hello, Professor Cunningham. Long time no see." he said with a smile, recalling some of the most memorable charms classes, including the one on non-verbal charms. Charms used to be one of his favourite subjects so it was rather nice to see an old friend or, perhaps, foe.
50 galleon certificate to the Three Broomsticks was a good deal. Although he was already bidding well over what the amount was for. It made sense to try to get it, even if it cost him a little bit more at the start. It was all for a good cause after all.
Arthur was always ready for a party, especially one with so many familiar faces. Grinning his usual charismatic smile, he stepped up to the table to place his bid, glancing around at the others there.
"Hello, Professor Cunningham!" he called, just catching a glimpse of her as she departed, "Jacobs," a polite nod was given to his Rutherford classmate, "Having fun?" he glanced over then and noticed an old housemate who'd been a few years ahead of him at Hogwarts, "Callaghan, right? Enjoying the party?"
Tyler was standing by the table deciding if he wanted to bid again when he heard his name. He turned his head in the direction that it came from and saw it was a classmate from Rutehrford. Creedence" He said in response to him. "You know as much fun as one can have. How about you?" He questioned back politely.
"It's not half bad. Nice bit of cheeriness in the winter, y'know? I'm having a bit of fun, yeah," he glanced up as a particularly attractive individual walked by and a slow smile crossed his face, "It's about to get a lot better, though. See you around, mate," with a friendly clap to his classmate's shoulder, he disappeared into the crowd.
"I agree its great having this right now." Tyler said to Arthur before waving bye at him as he walked away. He took a look around and saw that the crowd was getting pretty big but he didn't want to move from over by this table for now.
