A weekend getaway at a vineyard seemed like heaven to Hestia. There wasn't a single part of her body that wasn't tired or sore from preparing the fundraiser. Maybe once everything had settled down she would take time to herself, but it wasn't likely. She had a lot of vacation time saved and no chance to use it. She was always working, but time with the kids was worth a few sleepless nights and sore feet.

The next auction item to catch Marjorie's eye was a weekend getaway to a Spanish vineyard. It sounded like paradise, so naturally, she could not help but write down her bid. Since she was a child, her parents had stressed the importance of donations. Granted, they didn't necessarily donate out of the goodness of their hearts, but it was important for her to contribute as much as she possibly could to this auction.
A weekend away in Spanish vineyard? Sign him up! He could bet that Spain was beautiful this time of year and he'd never been to a vineyard before so it might be nice to get away for a weekend. Seeing someone else at the table he smiled brightly as he slipped his parchment piece into the box. "Hello! This silent auction is rather nice isn't it? Quite a few amazing things up for bid."
Phoenix didnt frequent places like this but having something to bring back for Jules was what he wanted. A weekend getaway sounded like the best thing. Sure they had gone on their Honeymoon but anytime he had alone with his wife he would take.
Guarin wrote his bid with a small smile. This sort of thing would be perfect for him and Andrea. They'd spoken of traveling, and while they could simply go on their own power, he'd always been in favor of helping the children. As he placed his bid on the table, he glanced up and saw a couple of familiar faces- one of whom was one of his dueling students.
"Hello, Marjorie. A lovely evening, isn't it?" he nodded to the man he didn't recognize and then to Phoenix, "Phoenix. Doing well?"
He didn't know the man well, but they had been coworkers not so long ago.
Seeing the man bid had him a bit more on edge. He knew money wasnt an object and since it was for a good cause Jules wouldnt mind. They had donated a dinner at the Archer's Rose already and he remember the first time he met Jules, it was at that very restaurant, his restuarant and now theirs.
He turned to the man that spoke, Guarin had worked at Hogwarts for a brief time and was a vampire...that much he remembered. "Yes... thanks for asking." He nodded, his slight wariness of the man was not an emotion he showed. At least he wasnt a werewolf.
