Contacting the Archer’s Rose had been much easier than contacting some of the celebrities on her list. Hestia wasn’t a businesswoman. She was an educator and it was difficult to deal with ministry officials and agents. At least with small businesses it was a real person and not a network of hoops that she had to jump through just to get to the person in charge. She had been to the Archer's Rose a couple of times, and had a great time. It was the perfect place for a night out.

Valentine’s Day is only a month away!
How about taking your partner out for a night on the town with an all-inclusive dinner for two at the Archer’s Rose? It’s a great place for a romantic night out or a quiet evening with a friend.

With their jobs keeping them busy and more recently Bailey moving to Edinburgh, she and Octavio did not have too many opportunities to spend time together. A romantic date sounded great and all money would go to charity anyways so she decided to really go for it and participate in as many silent auctions as she could afford to.

A date night sounded amazing, but what was more amazing was the idea of a Hogsmeade festival raising money for the orphanage. She knew Hestia had worked hard on planning it, and it seemed to be a success. As she scribbled down her bid, she noticed a familiar face across the table. "Hey Bailey," she said, dropping the bid into the box. It had been a long time since she had spoken to her former housemate, but then again, she had disappeared off the face of the Earth for some time.
"Naomi, so great to see you!" Bailey greeted the other woman looking genuinely happy to see an old housemate. "How have you been?" it felt definitely great to see a familiar face again. She agreed to bid more when she noticed that someone offered more. It definitely helped knowing that all those money were going to help so many children. "Bidding for a date night, who is the lucky - other half?" she asked, quite aware they must have a lot to speak about, considering they have not met each-other in a while now.

A date night was the perfect thing for her and Cameo. They had not really gone on one, since before school started. So when she saw the silent auction for it, it just made sense to try. She saw a couple of other bids already and knew she would have to try to make hers higher which is what she did. She wanted to win this to surprise Cameo. It would be a great surprise she thought.
Thalia wanted this. Archer Rose was one of her favorites. If she won, she would take Silas... or Theodore... she was torn who to take. All she knew is that she wanted to win it... thinking who to take would come later on. She saw Brooklyn put her ballot in and looked. She would up the anti on it, making it 200 galleons. She had a smile on her face as she walked around.

Brooke saw that Thalia went over and bid something on the date night. So she waited for her chance to go over and bid again. she really wanted to surprise Cameo with this date night. So she didn't mind spending a little bit more to win.
Astaroth walked up to the table, took one look at the bids, and immediately jotted down a much higher one. If he didn't win it, it would at least get the bids really going. If he did, he could afford it and he and Delilah would have an excellent date night. It was about time he took her somewhere nice.

Brooke was shocked that when she walked over to the table the amount had jumped up so much. She wrote a new bid on a piece of parchment and placed it into the box. She was curious as to who would bid that much but then again she upped the highest bid so she did not have that much room to talk.
Thalia saw a boy over at the bidding table. She wanted to go write a bigger one but then saw Brooke write one... Thalia really wanted it... maybe she should bid bigger. Thalia wrote down bigger bid and put it in the box.

Brooke watched as Thalia went over and bid again on the date night. They seemed to be fighting over it and she was not shocked that she was having to fight someone for it. But she was not going to give up. Brooke walked over and bid again on the date night. She honestly wanted to surprise Cameo with this but she was not sure how much longer she was going to bid on it.
Thalia walked over and noticed that Brooklyn was going to be a wonderful opponent, but she knew she was reaching her limits. But she would try a few more times before giving up.

Thy just kept bidding more and more. Brooke decided to take a break from the bidding and go an talk to her competitor about this date night that they were both bidding on. "So Thalia, who are you going to take on this date night if you win?" She asked wondering if the girl had anyone special in mind already.
Thalia saw that there was refreshments and took a glass of what looked like to be champagne. Grabbing one, she took a sip when she heard a voice behind her. Turning around, there was Brooklyn. She had asked her who she was thinking of taking. Thalia shrugged her shoulders. "Honestly, I am still debating it... I want to take my best friend, but there is my boyfriend as well... They both are great people but..." Which was true, but one was more important than the other, but she wouldn't say who, "I don't know. Just a silly debate." She said with a smile and another drink. "So what about you? Who are you taking?" Thalia reached over and grabbed a glass for Brooklyn and held it out for her.
