Ever wonder what the Order, Death Eaters or Mortenero was all about? Or confused about the current ideals/goals of the groups around right now? This thread should clear everything up for you but if you're still unsure, just ask! <3
NOTE: PLease keep in mind that these are all secret organizations, so they would need to know the leader or at least one person in the group to join, who would likely recommend them to the leader first. They would be recruited, not the other way around.
THE ORDER (1995-1998)
Leader: Albus Dumbledore
GOAL: To defeat the Death Eaters and save as many people from them as possible.
ACCEPTED: Adults graduated from school (18+).
DUMBLEDORE'S ARMY (1995-1998)
Leader: Harry Potter
GOAL: To learn defensive spells for the upcoming war and terrible times since Umbridge wouldn't let them learn it in class. Later, to keep banded together and protect youngsters from the Death Eater professors.
ACCEPTED: Students attending Hogwarts of any year during 1995-1998.
DEATH EATERS (1995-1998)
Leader: Lord Voldemort
GOAL: To take over the wizarding world and exterminate or enslave muggles and mudbloods. To make the world a pure world. They had control of the Ministry of Magic from 1997-1998.
ACCEPTED: Mostly adults but a few junior Death Eaters still in school or dropped out, though it was rare.
MORTENERO (2004-2013)
Leader: Giovanna Nero
GOAL: To make the purebloods stronger. They didn't attack random muggles or muggleborns. Instead, they enacted laws to benefit purebloods and ones that increased the amount of purebloods being born. Giovanna hated mudbloods but she knew that getting rid of them wouldn't necessarily make the purebloods stronger. However, there were also many battles. By 2007, she had control of the Ministry of Magic until 2011.
ACCEPTED: Anyone 14+.

Leader: Harry Potter (2004-2006); Eliza Cunningham & Ron Weasley (2006-2013)
GOAL: To oppose Mortenero and do what they could within the Ministry to halt their efforts for their pureblood laws. They fought them when they could but didn't want to endanger themselves or citizens too much so they were more on the defense in battle participation or smaller duels away from big crowds.
ACCEPTED: Adults graduated from school (18+).
RED CAPES (2008-2013)
Leader: Harry Potter (2008-2013)
INITIAL GOAL (2008-2010): Initially the Red Capes were created at Hogwarts for a group for students who wanted to learn how to defend themselves and also to spread positivity around the school and their community ("Hug a Slytherin!"). To create this, Harry Potter polyjuiced as a professor and revealed himself at the end of term to which Mortnero came and a battle ensued.
LATER GOAL (2010-2013): After this, Harry became more aggressive with a "by any means necessary" approach to defeating Mortenero. He was sick of the Order being complacent and not doing enough to get rid of Giovanna and her group. He gathered a few assassins and less than moral people to join the Red Capes. This mentality didn't trickle down to the students who still joined the group. Eliza Cunningham continued to run the Red Capes meetings at Hogwarts for the students, as well as Katie Bell and Morgan Shepard.
ACCEPTED: Anyone 11+ who is at Hogwarts or adults graduated from any school. As it was a very secret organization, they would need to know Harry himself to join if they were an adult.
LIBERAMACH (2013-2022)
Leaders: Five Kerr (2013-2017), Willem Tuinstra (2013-2022), and Bailey Dawson (2013-2020)
Deputy Leaders: Hestia Burke (2020-2022), and Linnea Bergeron (2020-2022)
INITIAL GOAL (2013-2015): Initially called 'The Unbelievers', they had lost faith the government system of Wizarding Britain in general. Not just whoever was in power. They felt that with the wizarding plague, Mortenero and everything in the past couple of decades, the Ministry would never be able to protect the people (no matter who was in power) and didn't hae their best interests at heart. So they created this group to: 1) Get the REAL truth out in their own newspaper that is't censored or controlled by the Ministry (later banned at Hogwarts); 2) Protect their community by stepping up if they see a mugging and generally 'patrolling' common places like Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade and stepping in if they see a crime taking place.
LATER GOAL (2015-2022): After not having faith in the government and feeling that their small efforts were too small to make any ipact, they realized that the only course of action was to create their own government. So starting in 2015, they did just that, deciding to set up their own municipality in Edinburgh first - separate from the Ministry of Magic.

ANONYMOUS (2013-present)
Leader: None (Collective). Senior Council holds more weight in decisions.
Founding Senior Council: Iago Crivelli, Fabbio Nero, Alessandro Gallucci, Raphael Bellrose
Additional Senior Council: Lilith Channing
Former Additional Senior Council: Seraphina Blackwood
GOAL: To secretly push the country to a more pureblood society. They don't create battles or make big splashes because that would make them known and therefore something to defeat. Instead, they just secretly exist. They don't even know all the other members in the group (only who recruited them and who they might be sent on a mission with). They meet regularly with their faces covered and go on missions assigned by the senior council (ex. assassinating a muggleborn with too much influence in the Ministry of Magic). These are few and far between so as to seem random and not connected.
