Okay so there are some major changes that will happen as of right now. It's already in the Rules thread, so make sure to read that. (:
-- First years only (exception: canons).
-- Second or third years if they are a transfer student from another TB school and you have to do the transfer exam and pass it to get that year.
-- Only ONE (1) adult creation per member. Exception: Adult canons as long as you're less than 3 over the limit (ex. If you are 10/1 then that's way over the limit, so you can't make one, but if you are 3/1, that's 2 over the limit, so you can make one). Yes you can still purchase the exception but only once every 3 months.
-- Time will go by faster. 10 real days = 1 roleplay month. So it'll take about 2 years to get from a first year to an adult rather than 3 years. (:
-- No longer tolerating people who are trying to 'skirt around the rules' or bend them when they know it's wrong. It's painfully obvious when you're doing this, and it just causes unneeded stress and annoyances on the staff. Just accept the rules and move on. And believe me, we can extremely tell the difference between asking a question to have a rule clarified and asking questions to find loop holes and skirt around the rules.
-- We are having an AC. During this time, if you want to delete any characters because of this big revamp you will NOT be penalized (normally if you delete a character, you have to wait 1 week before creating a new one).
-- Plot wise, please leave any OOC hang ups at the door. This is NOT isolation. It's directly the opposite. The plot is to create the Hogwarts Experience in a castle for adults and have that experience of going to school and being stuck with a bunch of people every day, and being able to make more threads and plots with all of them because of this. (: Also the joy and excitement of living in a castle and having lots of neat places to thread within it and the grounds.
NOTE: Current character applications pending - If we posted saying all you need to do is fix something or do some posts, then the character can be accepted even if it doesn't work with the new rules. But if you posted one WIP and hasn't been finished yet, then it won't be accepted with the old rules.
