Edinburgh & Dunfermline Election Candidate Sign-Ups

It's not time for a re-election yet. That'll be in another 3 years. So any filled positions will stay. However, we have a sufficient amount of new characters lately, so it's time to allow for people to campaign for the open positions!

We will only have voting for the sections where more than one person signs up.


-- No professors or Ministry employees.
-- You can have another job, though if you own a business, you will likely have to hire someone else to be the manager.
-- Your character doesn't have to be in Liberamach but will be an enemy of the Ministry.
-- They must live in Edinburgh, Lothian County (one of the three cities), or Yester Castle.


Councillors represent their area of expertise for their city or county. They have various meetings with people from their area and then bring proposals to the council when they meet every 2 weeks. The council then votes whether or not to pass the proposal.

City representatives represent their city in all manner of things, to bring issues regarding their city to the council meetings. They have their ears to the ground more to know the needs of their people. Also, they will need to live in the city they represent.

Councillors tend to stick to their area of expertise, while city representatives are more general and will bring forward proposals that they feel most of the people are asking for.

History: After graduation, Momo became the owner of rock & rolling cafe. Otherwise he's just been getting his business off the ground more and more

Character Name: STIJN VISSER
City/County: Edinburgh, Scotland
Position: Councillor of Healthcare
History: Stijn has been around since the unbelievers were created, building his political knowledge up. While his knowledge on political systems had to grow; he already knew a lot about healthcare. He has been a freelance healer until settling in Scotland and getting his official degree while doing an internship in St. Mungo's. He helped build the Edinburgh clinic and has been working there ever since.

[CRISTOIR O'CLERY]

Character Name: CRISTOIR O'CLERY
City/County: Yester, Scotland
Position: Councillor of Law Enforcement
History: Previously he was an Auror-in-training for the Ministry. Cristoir switched sides after discovering how corrupt the Ministry was. Since then, he's brought multiple people to Liberamach's corner and he's also been a part of many different things on site. Currently, he's training to be a healer at the Brighid Ward in the Edinburgh Clinic. Aside from the obvious, he also was the person to double agent and help captives escape after the Ministry did some Kidnappings, this was while he was still an Auror-in-training. When it comes to devising actions and plans, Cristoir will always be a true Ravenclaw at heart. He thinks plans out and executes them. Always prepared with a backup plan if needed.
