Narcisse didn't tend to come into Hogsmeade much these days. He could get everything that he needed from the Passage. He had chosen to come today though. As he was walking along, he saw someone with dark hair and his heart seized up. Was that one of his exes? He took a moment to reflect that perhaps he had a type before turning abruptly, colliding bodily into someone else. Luckily, Narcisse was petite so it wasn't like he could have hurt them. So it was mostly just embarrassing.
November's end was nearing, and the Christmas season would soon be commencing. As passionate as Angus was in his work at the WGOS, he was looking forward to a lengthy break from his place of employment – regardless if it still wouldn't be for weeks. Despite his young age and having only been employed at the Scottish Government for a little over a year, he had been utterly swamped by the responsibilities that came with his achieved position.
It was something of a miracle that he currently found himself with a day off, free from paperwork and case reviews.
He decided it was great day to head to the Three Broomsticks to sit down, have a nice meal, and continue to work on his memoir, Confessions of an Unwitting Snake Charmer, which detailed his experiences as a Parselmouth and owner of a Basilisk.
Not many people knew of his working on the manuscript, and he would've preferred it to stay that way until he decided to pursue official publication upon its completion.
Of the less-than-a-handful of Parselmouths throughout history, not one had decided to inscribe their experiences upon paper for future generations to read and assess.
But that quaint observation was put out of his mind at the recognizing of a former classmate among the crowds. Angus recalled the boy as a former Hufflepuff who had been a few years above him while at Hogwarts.
“Hey, Aeron!” Angus called while waving, keeping a tight hold on his briefcase with his other hand. “Long time, no see! How you been?!”
