Dear reader,
I sent my owl out with an instruction to deliver this letter to someone he finds ugly. I'm kidding! I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Levi, I'm a Hogwarts student. I don't normally do these types of letters but I thought I'd give it a try. My owl's name is Friendly but he's anything but friendly. Keep your fingers away from the beak.
I'd love to make a friend from around the world. I look forward to hearing the delights of the world you have on that part of the world either it be near or far.

Dear Levi,
I truly hope you are kidding about Friendly delivering your letter to an ugly person. :-)
Please feel free to call me “A”. Your owl has reached me in Dublin. I’m sorry that your letter did not reach a farther part of the world, but if it’s any consolation to you, I only moved back to Ireland last week after living in Vietnam and Italy. I can share what I saw in those countries, and would love to learn about Hogwarts and Wizarding Britain in return.
I am sending Friendly back after giving him some food and water. Hope to hear from you again.

Hey A,
Pleasure to meet you! Sorry if my little joke ended up with you. I trust you understand it was just a joke and that's all, just a bit of tounge in cheek.
Friendly is not as friendly as the name appears to be. You just moved back? How was your time away? I'm starting the new term soon here at Hogwarts. I'm rather excited as I'll be a prefect this year too. Hogwarts is a fantastic place to learn however limiting it may be compared to some of the other schools in the magical world. We don't get to learn dark arts but only the theory of it which I plan to do once I reach my sixth and seventh year.
My time away has been… a lot of things. Fun, enlightening, but also a bit stifling, mainly because my mother is a staff member at my previous school and she was especially strict. I spent my childhood thinking that I would attend Hogwarts, and I’m happy to say that I finally will beginning this term. We may even get to meet each other at school, Levi.
So, are you saying that you are interested in learning not only the theory of dark arts, but the practicals as well?
I’m not judging, of course. Intellectual curiosity is so very important.
Dark Arts is a mandatory class at the school I previously attended. I only got to study theories too because I spent my fifth year in a different academy where the rules were different. My peers who stayed, however, got to practise and witness all kinds of curses and dark creatures. I must say, I am a little jealous of the practical opportunities they had.

Hi A,
Thanks for writing back to me. Sorry it has taken a while, I kind of got busy with school stuff! I got made a prefect here. I’m sure we’ll get to meet each other eventually.Hogwarts is kind of small anyway. Out of curiosity, What did you get sorted into? Also, how cool but scary is it that your mum is Ike that. What did she teach?
Thank you for not judging, I always believe that every branch of magic has something that can be beneficial. No matter how political or questionable that type of magic is. My parents practise Dark Arts often. What sort of things did you learn in your dark arts class? Did you get to do any practical things at al?
