During the school year, things tended to be a little slower due to all the teenagers being off in school. However, on the second Saturday of the months October, November, January, March, April, May, the place always filled up with students enjoying the Hogsmeade Weekend. She had always wondered why they called it a Weekend when it was a mere day trip.
There was a small lull now which had her thoughts percolating on that point. At least until a familiar face came into the shop. She greeted Rose with a smile, wondering if she would soon be seeing an influx of Weasleys.

The best part about being a third year, in Rose’s opinion at least, was by far her ability to now partake in the Hogsmeade trips. She took great joy in being able to travel off the school grounds and explore the little magical village; spending time with her friends drinking butterbeer in the three broomsticks, and of course, stocking up on supplies from her dad’s shop. While she had been able to obtain supplies through other means the previous two years, actually being able to walk into the shop to restock was the most preferred method. It was like having a piece of home while she was at school.
Waltzing through the shop door on that glorious day, she greeted her cousin behind the counter, before beginning to gather the necessary goods. She was on her own at that moment, although she expected some of her friends to join her once they completed their honeydukes shopping. That gave her time to make her selections in peace, before the store filled once more with students.
Only about ten minutes later, she made her way up to the counter, arms filled with a large variety of tricks. “So, Victoire, my favourite cousin, how much does the daughter of the owner owe for these fine goods?” She asked with a sly smile, hoping to finagle a discount due to familial connections. She did most often pay for supplies from the store, after all they weren’t free to manufacture, but she did not have nearly enough money to buy everything she had selected at full price. She hoped Victoire was in a good mood and able to cut her some kind of deal, as long as it didn’t get her in any trouble of course.
