With the weekend upon them and Rafe free from teaching duties, Rafe found himself on the streets of Diagon Alley. The dry same place that he would often find himself during his long breaks when he once worked in the Ministry. He had somehow managed to find time to venture out to Diagon Alley having avoided student watch over the weekend. There wasn’t exactly a need to purchase anything, he simply just needed to get out side of the castle. A chance of fresh air as some may say. He walked from store to store not really seeing anything that interested him enough until he got to one of the stores closer toward Gringotts where he spent a few minutes looking at the spell books displayed in the window.
