Leo's days were often filled with studying for classes and prefect duties. It was different than he had expected, but it certainly made things interesting. Well, it was more interesting when he wasn't studying Astronomy, but he understood that he should at least try to do his best in every subject, especially since he wasn't quite sure what he wanted to do after Hogwarts. He leaned on his backpack and read through one of his braille textbooks.
He startled when he felt a drop of water on his head. Oh, it was raining. It had felt pretty sunny out, so Leo was taken a bit by surprise. He didn't really have any desire to run back into the castle, and as long as he didn't hear any thunder and it stayed a slow drizzle, he was probably fine. The things in his backpack on the other hand...
"Impervius" Leo said, casting the spell on his backpack. That would keep any water from getting too deep into his backpack. Then, he did it again to the book he was reading. The paper was heavier due to it being a braille textbook, and it wasn't like Leo cared about ink smudging, but he didn't want it to fall apart. He went back to studying, trying to memorize constellations.
(open to one or more!)
Leo is blind. Don't expect him to notice your character waving at him.

Nisha was entirely soaked when she discovered the studying boy, well truth was she was curious about him before she found him outside because she had followed him the moment she spotted him. He was blind which was interesting she'd never met a blind wizard much less a blind person and he was navigating himself around very well. Surely he also knew it was raining?
Ignoring her lack of proper rain attire (just her school uniform, satchel, and cloak; of which she protected only her satchel with her books under her cloak) becoming more and more soaked as she followed. Her excitement at the spell he used had her speaking up, "That's pretty smart, what year did you learn that?"
